About Baylor University Medical Center PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency
The primary goal of the PGY2 Critical Care Residency at Baylor University Medical Center is to develop well-rounded critical care practitioners who provide high-level clinical care in a variety of ICU settings. The program offers a high degree of flexibility, which allows the residency to be tailored to the specific needs of the individual. Baylor University Medical Center has 1,000 inpatient beds including 100+ adult ICU beds. This 12-month residency program is designed to give the resident a well-rounded experience in both medical and surgical critical care settings. Through required and elective rotations, the resident will refine clinical problem solving skills in critical care fundamentals and meet individual career goals. The focus of the training is to master the disease states established within the ASHP Practice Standards.
