About Partnership with the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University
The PGY-1 pharmacy residency program at Virginia Hospital Center partners with the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University to offer opportunities in academia, research and joint learning. In addition, association with Shenandoah University offers the unique opportunity to interact with faculty, staff and fellow PGY-1 pharmacy residents at nearby institutions. Moreover, Virginia Hospital Center's partnership with Shenandoah University allows its residents to participate in a Teaching and Learning Curriculum Program. Successful completion of the program's related activities including pedagogy seminars, experiential and didactic experiences, small group facilitations and a teaching portfolio will award the resident with a Teaching and Learning Certificate.
