About University of Cincinnati Winkle College of Pharmacy PGY1 Community-Based Residency
The James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy is one of the oldest Colleges of Pharmacy in the United States. We are located on the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center Campus with the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences. We have partnered with our community to offer 3 unique residency programs for 4 residents under the Community-Based residency umbrella. Each site is located in an underserved area of our community and helps fulfil the mission of our College: To develop progressive pharmacy practitioners and researchers to lead the evolution of healthcare. Residents spend four days a week at the community partner site and one day a week at the College
