About St. Louis College of Pharmacy/St. Louis County Department of Public Health
For more than 30 years, St. Louis College of Pharmacy has provided individuals with opportunities to participate in residency training programs. Our programs have prepared residents to become clinical pharmacists and pharmacy practice faculty in St. Louis and throughout the country.
Located in one of the nation’s premier biomedical complexes, the College maintains affiliations with major hospitals, teaching institutions, managed care organizations, and health care corporations throughout the St. Louis area. Collaboration between practice sites and the College provides you with access to dozens of residency preceptors in a variety of specialties and practice environments.
St. Louis College of Pharmacy's residency programs provide opportunities that prepare residents for clinical practice in a range of settings with diverse patient populations and complex disease states. Residents also have co-precepting responsibilities, opportunities to participate in the Resident Education Academy – The St. Louis College of Pharmacy Teaching & Learning Curriculum, and help educate student pharmacists in the classroom. These additional residency experiences allow you to practice your teaching... skills which are necessary for pursuing full-time or adjunct academic positions. The College is committed to educating and training world-class pharmacists. Residency training is part of that mission.
