About Parkland Health and Hospital System Residency Programs
Parkland is an integrated health care system operated by the Dallas County Hospital District and is an 870 bed teaching facility. The hospital is a Level I trauma center and serves as the primary teaching hospital for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. More than 60 percent of the doctors in the Dallas area have undergone formal training at Parkland.
