About Baystate Medical Center PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency
Baystate Medical Center (BMC) in Springfield, Massachusetts is an independent academic medical center and the regional campus of the University of Massachusetts Medical School- Baystate. BMC is a 716-bed facility and serves as the region's only Level 1 trauma center and pediatric trauma center. BMC is a major referral hospital, providing the highest level of care for oncology, cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, neurology, gastroenterology and other disease states. Baystate Children's Hospital is a 110 bed and 57 bassinette hospital located within Baystate Medical Center. Baystate Children's Hospital is the only accredited full-service children's hospital in Western Massachusetts and provides primary and advanced medical care to infants, children, adolescents and their families. Baystate Medical Center is the flagship hospital within Baystate Health, a five-hospital health care system in Western Massachusetts.
