About Phoenix Children's Hospital
Phoenix Children’s Hospital offers challenging yet flexible residency programs where motivated residents ensure the application of safe, effective, and evidence-based medicine practices to pediatric patients. Required learning experiences include General Pediatrics, Pediatric Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, Cardiovascular Intensive Care, Hematology/Oncology, Solid Organ Transplantation, Emergency Medicine, and Infectious Diseases. Elective learning experience opportunities include Advanced Cardiovascular ICU, Advanced Pediatric ICU, Bone Marrow Transplant, Investigational Pharmacy Services, and Medication Safety. Longitudinal learning experiences include Pharmacy Systems, Leadership and Administration, Ambulatory Care, Residency Research/Quality Improvement Projects, Teaching and Academia, and participation in the Clinical Educator Program. Required and elective learning experiences are four weeks in duration. The goal of the residency is to develop future leaders in pediatric pharmacy practice.
