St. Joseph’s Hospital – South – BayCare Health System, Inc.
Our Post-Graduate Year One (PGY1) residency program is designed
to provide training and experience in a wide-variety of acute care settings.
Over the course of 12 months, the resident will gain experience in areas such
as adult medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, pediatrics, therapeutic
policy, and pharmacy management.

The applicant must possess a Pharm.D. degree from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
The applicant must have active Florida Pharmacist License within 90 days of the residency start date
The applicant must participate in an on-site interview
About St. Joseph's Hospital-South
As part of the BayCare Health System, St. Joseph’s-South is a full-service, community hospital
located in Riverview, Florida.
The PGY1 residency program is designed to build on Doctor of Pharmacy education in order to develop residents into clinical pharmacists that provide safe and effective patient care to a diverse range of patients.
Residents will be eligible for future PGY2 residency training and board certification pursuits.
