Residency Showcase Program Listings

The Emergency Medicine Residency (PGY2) at Cleveland Clinic Akron General is a 12-month training program designed to train future emergency medicine pharmacy practitioners to provide competent and compassionate care to the spectrum of patients presenting to the emergency department. The PGY2 resident with engage with the interdisciplinary team in direct patient care with the goal of providing optimal, patient-centered medication therapy. Core experiences will expose the PGY2 resident to patents with trauma (Level 1 trauma center), medical emergencies, cardiac emergencies, and neurologic emergencies/stroke alerts   (Thrombectomy-capable stroke center).
