WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals
Thank you for your interest in WVU Medicine's Pharmacy Residency Program. Our residency has over 30 years of history and has developed into one of the most high-quality programs across the country.  The WVU Medicine Pharmacy Residency Program was started in 1985 by then Residency Coordinator, Art Poremba, and accredited by ASHP in 1987. Since its inception, 127 residents have completed the PGY-1 program.  In addition to the PGY-1 program, WVU Medicine offers a PGY-1/PGY-2 HSPAL with Masters, a PGY-1 Community-based (Specialty), and seven PGY-2 programs including Ambulatory, Cardiology, Critical Care, Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Pediatrics.
