About Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis
Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital is an acute care teaching hospital and referral center affiliated with the Indiana University School of Medicine and Marion University College of Osteopathic Medicine. The hospital's Medical Education Department supports medical residents in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and General Surgery. The Pharmacy Department has a PGY1 pharmacy residency and a PGY1 Community-based pharmacy residency. Additionally, the department has PGY2 residencies in the areas of critical care, internal medicine, pediatrics and ambulatory care. Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital provides the entire spectrum of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services including a Level 1 Trauma Center, burn center, comprehensive stroke center, transplant center and Level 4 NICU. A team of highly motivated pharmacists provides compassionate, evidenced-based care to all of our patients at our ~600 bed hospital and many outpatient offices.
