Residency Showcase Program Listings

Phoenix Children’s is committed to the training and professional development of outstanding clinical pharmacists and leaders in pediatric pharmacy practice. Our Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program builds on your Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education with hands-on experience and leadership training. As a graduate of our program, you’ll be fully prepared to find employment as an independent clinical pharmacist or to begin Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.

Our Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) Pharmacy Residency Program will expand and build on your previous experience and training developed during your PGY1. Our program will tailor your year based on your goals/interests and previous unique PGY1 experiences.  As a graduate of our PGY2 program, you will be fully prepared to become a clinical specialist in pediatrics and pursue board certification in pediatric pharmacy.

The challenging, yet flexible, program will motivate and prepare you to ensure safe and effective evidence-based patient care for pediatric patients. You’ll participate in service activities to enhance your ability to think critically, solve problems and work with diverse professionals in various settings.  Our goal is to help you become a leader in pharmaceutical care, management, education and communication.
