Pharmacy residents at Olathe Medical Center will have opportunities to practice in a variety of settings in a community non-profit hospital. The pharmacy department supports involvement in professional organizations and emphasizes opportunities in leadership as well as precepting and mentoring pharmacy students. Staffing obligations are balanced with one compensation day off within the month. Residents work closely with department leadership and gain experience in pharmacy management in addition to a variety of clinical practice specialties. Learning experiences are tailored to meet the needs and interests of the individual resident.

Inpatient services include critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, neurology, spine surgery, nephrology, orthopedics, urology, labor and delivery and Level II neonatal intensive care.
