Critical Care Pharmacy
This Critical Care Residency emphasizes clinical services in various intensive care units with numerous opportunities for education and research. Practice sites include medical, cardiovascular, surgical, trauma, neurosurgical, pediatric and neonatal intensive care units, infectious diseases, emergency medicine and toxicology. The resident will have an opportunity to teach critical care didactic lectures to internal medicine and surgical residents and precept pharmacy residents and students. Flexibility is stressed throughout our program to tailor the needs and interests of the candidate.
Pharm.D. degree and completion of an ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency required. PhORCAS application references must be from clinical faculty and preceptors. In addition to PhORCAS requirements for application, the program requires ACLS certification and eligibility for licensure in Illinois.
