Residency Showcase Program Listings

The Cardiology Residency is a twelve month program of training and experience based upon the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) standards for specialized hospital pharmacy residencies.  The program will teach the resident to serve as an expert on the optimal use of medications used in the care of patients with cardiovascular disease and optimize the outcomes of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular disease through provision of evidence-based, patient-centered medication therapy.  The resident will also manage and improve the medication-use process for patients with or at risk for cardiovascular disease and contribute to the body of cardiovascular pharmacotherapy knowledge.
