Patient First | Better Together | Speak Up | Innovate! | Own It/Solve It | In Joy
Our program provides residents with experiences that develop the knowledge, skills, and values needed to deliver exceptional patient care in a variety of clinical settings. Residents spend the majority of their learning experiences in collaboration with the healthcare team or providing direct patient care at the bedside and in clinic. Longitudinal code response and ambulatory clinic experiences are unique features of our program, encouraging well-rounded clinical growth of the resident. LMH Health residents have numerous teaching, precepting, and mentoring opportunities through a teaching certificate program, didactic lectures, precepting APPE students, and mentoring 20+ employed interns. Leadership involvement in the form of multidisciplinary committee work, medication safety efforts, longitudinal projects, and professional organizations is supported and encouraged. Staffing responsibilities include one evening per week and every 3rd weekend, with one compensatory day off and one office day per month. Residents accrue PTO and are eligible for Health, Dental, and Vision insurance.
Applicants must participate in and adhere to the rules of the Resident Matching Program (RMP) process.
