Residency Showcase Program Listings

This post-graduate year one (PGY-1) Pharmacy Residency program is one of the first accredited residency programs with over 50 years of continuous accreditation by ASHP. This program provides a comprehensive year of education and experience with an emphasis on direct patient centered care, interprofessional team development and medication optimization. Core rotations offer a variety of experiences in both inpatient and ambulatory care settings. Residents are highly involved within all areas of pharmacy practice at the Minneapolis VA. There are four PGY-1 positions available, 3 general residencies and 1 general residency with a mental health interprofessional experience.
