Stormont Vail Health is a nonprofit integrated health system. It is comprised of Stormont Vail Hospital, a 586-bed acute care hospital, and Cotton O’Neil Clinics, a multi-specialty physician group with more than 260 physicians. Nearly 5,000 employees provide care and support services for patients in the hospital. Stormont is a Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Certified. The program consists of a 12-month period of rotations in the ED, MICU, SICU, and PICU. Electives are available in ID and cardiology, among others. All staffing hours are complete in the ED (every other weekend and one evening a week). Stormont also has a PGY1 residency program with four residents. Opportunities to precept P4 students and PGY1 residents are available. The program is flexible and can adapt to the needs of the resident.
Must be a graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a PharmD or equivalent and successful completion of an accredited PGY1 residency program. Must be eligible for licensure in Kansas by July 1 and obtain license within 60 days of the start of employment.
