PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency is a one-year training program offering a broad range of pharmacy practice experiences. The program is conducted at Ascension Via Christi Hospitals in Wichita, Kansas, which are acute care, teaching hospitals. The program offers positions for up to four residents annually. The PGY1 program provides experience in a variety of settings, focusing on the core areas of practice specified in the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacy Accreditation Standards, including patient care, practice management and research. The program is administered by highly trained and respected clinical practitioners who are allotted dedicated time in their area of practice to provide state-of-the-art training and mentoring for the programs’ residents.
