PGY1 Hospital Resident
PGY1 pharmacy residency programs build on Pharm.D. education and outcomes to contribute to the development of a clinical pharmacist responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year 2 (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. The 12-month post-graduate program is designed to provide residents with the knowledge, abilities, experience, attitude, and critical thinking skills necessary to become leaders in integrated health-system pharmacy practice.
