The PGY2 Critical Care Residency at Dell Children’s Medical Center is designed to provide the resident with a concentrated 12-month experience focused on critical care medicine. At the completion of this residency, the resident will be prepared to fulfill the role of a clinical pharmacy specialist in a critical care unit. Based in a pediatric facility, this PGY2 residency offers the unique opportunity to further specialize in pediatric critical care while still establishing critical care skills that are necessary to care for critically ill patients of any age.

REQUIREMENTS
Graduate or candidate for graduation from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited degree program and completion of an ASHP-Accredited (or candidate status) PGY1 Residency Program.
Must be eligible for pharmacist licensure in Texas and able to obtain pharmacist license by Aug. 1.
Non-traditional pharmacist applicants with at least 3 years of critical care experience will also be considered for eligibility for this PGY2 critical care training program.

Application deadline is January 2, 2023. All materials must be received by the deadline in order to be considered for an on-site interview. Applications must be completed through the WebAdMIT/PhORCAS system. Completed applications include:

Information for reference writers: We ask that the reference writers complete the four questions that are optional in PhORCAS and include the same quantity and quality of information that they would normally include in a traditional letter of recommendation in their responses to these questions.
