Lowell General Hospital’s PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency trains the next generation of pharmacy practice leaders. Under the direct supervision of expert preceptors, our residents care for patients in a variety of practice settings, while providing a challenging and diverse experience throughout the year. At the end of the program, our residents will be able to enjoy a fulfilling career built upon a strong foundation, whether their goal is to enter the workforce or pursue further specialized training. Residents are required to rotate through core experiences in ambulatory care, cardiology, critical care, internal medicine, oncology and management. Residents participate in the MCPHS teaching certificate program, and are required to complete a longitudinal pharmacy quality improvement project.
All application materials should be submitted through the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS). Please submit a letter of intent, curriculum vitae, official college of pharmacy transcripts, and three letters of recommendation (using PhORCAS template).
For the 2023-2024 residency year there will be 2 PGY1 positions. The application deadline is 12/31/2022.
