The PGY2 Ambulatory Care residency at St. Vincent Indianapolis offers numerous opportunities for a resident within a variety of practice sites on the Indianapolis campus and throughout the state of Indiana. Primary patient care responsibilities occur at the St. Vincent Joshua Max Simon Primary Care Center and within St Vincent Medical Group patient centered medical homes. These responsibilities include pharmacist-driven collaborative practice, providing pharmaceutical care and working with other care providers to develop policies and procedures. Advanced training in ambulatory care will prepare the resident to focus on and address challenges related to medication safety, primary and preventive care, cost effective therapy, population health services and clinical research. The resident will also serve as a consultant and educator of physicians, nurses, students, pharmacists, patients and their families.
Applicants must have a Doctor of pharmacy degree & eligibility for pharmacist licensure in Indiana, and must have completed an accredited PGY1 Pharmacy residency. Applications and supplemental questions must be submitted through the PhORCAS system by 12/31/2022. Please ask reference writers to follow the guidelines available on the residency website.
