St. Vincent Evansville PGY-1 residency is a one-year commitment designed to provide experience in practical application of pharmaceutical care in an integrated health system. The program year is flexible to accommodate the interests of the resident with rotations available in general and specialty areas, including internal medicine, critical care, cardiology, pediatrics, infectious disease, administration, and care transitions. Residents will complete research projects, provide education to medical and pharmacy staff, and precept pharmacy students.
Must be a graduate of an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy with a Pharm D or equivalent and eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana. All candidates must be eligible to work in the US throughout the duration of the residency year. We are unable to provide VISA sponsorship for international students/graduates at this time. St Vincent Indianapolis Hospital is an acute care hospital affiliated with the Indiana University School of Medicine and Marion University College of Osteopathic Medicine. The St Vincent Joshua Max Simon Primary Care Center is the primary care clinic affiliated with the hospital where medical residents provide highly reliable care in over 70,000 patient visits/year. The hospital's Medical Education Department supports medical residents in seven residency programs, including Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Pediatrics. The Pharmacy Department supports both PGY1 and PGY1 Community-based programs, and PGY2 residencies in ambulatory care, critical care, internal medicine, and pediatrics.
