Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center was founded in 1897 and is the largest Catholic teaching hospital in New England. We are a level one trauma center with numerous recognized centers of excellence and a robust ambulatory care platform. Our institution is affiliated with the University of Connecticut and the University of Saint Joseph Schools of Pharmacy.
