PGY-1 residents at AdventHealth Sebring will participate in a wide range of clinical experiences. Throughout the residency, the residents will have the opportunity to learn and gain the experience necessary to become a clinical pharmacist and/ or pursue a PGY-2 residency. Residents will also have the opportunity to participate in, and obtain, a teaching certificate in association with multiple universities in Florida.
Our Sebring campus serves as the primary practice site for the residency program. Pharmacists work closely with providers to offer exceptional health care services to our community. Clinical pharmacists are key respected members of multidisciplinary teams and are heavily involved in the inpatient management of pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation and therapeutic drug monitoring. We are integral members of multiple system committees including, but not limited to, heart failure, P&T, stroke, code blue, readmissions and falls.

PharmD from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy prior to residency start date
Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the state of Florida to be completed within 90 days of residency start date
