Sibley Memorial Hospital-Johns Hopkins Medicine offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetrics, psychiatric, heme/onc, pediatric radiation oncology and skilled nursing inpatient services. The hospital operates a 24-hour Emergency Department with a full range of outpatient services. Sibley is recognized in the community as a major provider of surgical, geriatric, oncology, orthopedic, an obstetrics services. As well as, a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 patient rooms.
Sibley's campus is home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residency; the Sibley Cancer Center; and the Sibley Renaissance, which houses the Center for Rehabilitative Medicine, the Sullivan Center for Breast Health, Sibley Center for Advanced Gynecologic Surgery, The Sibley Center for Weight Loss Surgery, a skilled nursing care unit, a residential Alzheimer's unit, and John's Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center/Sibley Infusion.
The purpose of the ASHP accredited Sibley Pharmacy Residency Program is to develop pharmacists who are valued members of the healthcare team, achieving optimal drug therapy outcomes through the application of their knowledge.
The pharmacy residency offers a variety of core rotations (internal medicine, critical care, oncology, informatics, drug information, central pharmacy practice, management, emergency medicine and geriatrics), longitudinal experiences (research and central operations) and elective rotations. The program provides flexibility for residents to focus on individual interests and career goals.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The ASHP-accredited PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency program offers a variety of core rotations (internal medicine, critical care, oncology, drug information, central pharmacy practice, management, emergency medicine a...nd geriatrics), and longitudinal experiences (research and central operations). The program provides flexibility for the residents to focus on individual interests and career goals. Residents will also participate in Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee activities, Medication Safety Committee activities and medication use evaluations,
and provide education to pharmacists, nurses, physicians and patients. Residents also have the opportunity to pursue a teaching certificate. Ultimately, the resident will gain skills to become a confident, caring and well-rounded direct patient care provider.
