PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program (Ambulatory Track)
Residents participating in this PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program at University Health Truman Medical Center will primarily practice within ambulatory care. They will develop a strong working knowledge of specialty pharmacy, 340B, medication access and care transitions. Residents will participate in a teaching certificate program and conduct a research project.Purpose Statement: PGY1 residency programs build upon Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and outcomes to develop pharmacist practitioners with knowledge, skills, and abilities as defined in the educational competency areas, goals, and objectives.
