Banner – University Medical Center Tucson Critical Care
The PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson is designed to train selected, highly motivated and highly qualified pharmacists so they are prepared for a critical care position in an acute care facility and/or an advanced fellowship in an area of critical care or research. The critical care resident will have clinical, teaching, and research responsibilities. The primary responsibility will be monitoring drug therapy during required and elective learning experiences. This includes rounding with multidisciplinary teams, providing drug therapy recommendations during rounding activities, completing written progress notes in the electronic medical record and providing formal consultations.
