Pharmacists completing the PGY2 residency at Summa Health will be prepared to assume positions as clinical pharmacy specialists in various ambulatory settings. They will receive rigorous coaching and experience in the practice of providing proficient direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. The residency will prepare individuals for BCACP certification examination. Emphasis will be placed on communication skills and evidence-based medicine management.
Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college or school of pharmacy
Satisfactory completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
