The PG2 Population Health Management and Data Analytics Residency Program through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Pharmacy trains the resident to integrate health information, evidence-based medicine (EBM), outcomes measurement, and data analytics to inform decisions for population health management. The resident gains experience creating, implementing, and optimizing population health initiatives with our evidence-based prescription drug program (EBRx), the UAMS Medical Center, and Health Plan PBM. Involvement in quality improvement and multiple projects provide opportunities to learn many aspects from different experts. The resident will teach in EBM and U.S. Healthsystems in the pharmacy curriculum.
Required rotations include Orientation, EBRx*, Health Plan*, Clinical Data Management*, Quality Improvement*, Leadership*, Teaching & Academia*, and Scholarship/Research Project* (*longitudinal) . Three months of elective rotations are available.

Applicants must possess a degree in pharmacy and have completed or in process of completing an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency. The applicant should submit a letter of intent, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, and their official transcript from pharmacy school through PhORCAS (Number 668781). This residency has candidate status for accreditation by ASHP.
