Covenant HealthCare PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency
The Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) pharmacy residency is intended to build upon the doctor of pharmacy education to develop patient-centric inpatient pharmacy practitioners who can provide extraordinary care for diverse populations. PGY1 residents will complete rotations in internal medicine/decentralized pharmacy practice, infectious disease/antimicrobial stewardship, medical intensive care unit (MICU), emergency medicine and pharmacy administration.Residents will participate in several longitudinal experiences including following patients in an ambulatory care clinic, staffing a residency research project, and presentations at ASHP Midyear and the Great Lakes Pharmacy Resident Conference.
