Residency Overview
The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program conducted by SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri is accredited by ASHP. It gives residents the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge, and practice philosophy at an academic medical center. The program emphasizes excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on literature evaluation and critical thinking. Through the 12-month training program, residents are able to apply learned skills in a hospital setting which provides them with a variety of experiences.

Application Requirements
Candidates must be a graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy and eligible for licensure in the state(s) for which they will practice. All applicants must use the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS).
