Residency Showcase Program Listings

As Oregon's only academic medical center, the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Department of Pharmacy Services is committed to teaching the next generation of pharmacy practitioners. We proudly offer six residency programs accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). A total of up to thirteen positions are available each year: five positions for practitioners interested in the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, one specialty residency position in PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics, two specialty two-year residency positions in PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration, one specialty position in PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy, two specialty residency positions in PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy, one specialty residency position in PGY2 Infectious Disease Pharmacy, and one residency position in PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy (undergoing accreditation). 

OHSU is a progressive institution in a progressive state. The pharmacy department is viewed as a valued player in the institution’s ecosystem and our contributions extend beyond the clinical arenas. We have been privileged to be early adopters of clinical practices, technologies, and pharmacy advancement initiatives. Pharmacists are well integrated into the medical team and work alongside our medical colleagues on the floors and in the clinic spaces. With credentialing and privileging of pharmacists, collaborative practices and pharmacy managed protocols, our pharmacists are practicing at the top of their license to push the scope of pharmacy practice and services.
