PGY1 Community-Based Residency at SDSU College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Professions and Lewis
Program Description The residency is designed to develop practitioners with a high level of skills required to manage patient care in the ambulatory care and community pharmacy settings. The program will have 2 residents in 2024-25. Residents will participate in educational opportunities and experiences allowing the resident to gain expertise as a pharmacy practitioner in the community pharmacy setting and ambulatory care clinic. In addition, the resident will gain valuable insight into the management of a community pharmacy. The resident will provide pharmacy care via existing pharmacy care programs and will also develop new pharmacy care programs at the sites.
