Residency Showcase Program Listings

The mission of the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport is to provide residents with the skills and knowledge required to become a skilled clinical pharmacist in today’s ever-changing medical community. Our PGY1 Resident cohort is composed of four positions. Each resident completes eight core rotations and four elective rotations which are all one-month in duration. Our required rotations include orientation, project month, internal medicine 1, internal medicine 2, critical care, pediatrics, ambulatory care, and management. Some elective opportunities include, but are not limited to, adult and pediatric infectious disease, nephrology, inpatient and outpatient oncology, hematology, BMT, and emergency medicine.
