**PHORCAS application due by January 2nd, 2025** The PGY1 residency at Penrose-St. Francis Hospitals will provide new pharmacists with the opportunity to develop professional responsibility, learn to promote their own professional growth and maturity, and develop leadership and practice skills they can apply to their chosen area of the pharmacy profession. This program will provide experience in various clinical settings at both hospitals that will lead to an advanced level of knowledge and clinical practice. Established in 1890, Penrose Hospital has grown to become a major health treatment and referral center specializing in cancer care, cardiac care, neurology, intensive care, emergency trauma care, and spinal care with 300 licensed beds
