Residency Showcase Program Listings

JEVZ VAMC is a 51-bed hospital with acute care (11), long-term care (40), urgent care and outpatient services including primary care, mental health, infusion clinic, surgery, pain management, and other specialty services. We have 5 community-based outpatient clinics in Indiana, Johnstown, State College, Huntingdon, & Dubois. JEVZ Pharmacy provides services at all locations through direct patient care, prescription services, counseling, formulary management, and interdisciplinary teams.  

PGY1 Pharmacy residents have varied longitudinal and block-style rotations in Acute Care, Ambulatory Care, Anticoagulation Clinic, Home Based Primary Care, Mental Health, Oncology, Pharmacy Leadership, and Pharmacy Staffing. The program will be tailored to residents individual goals and interests through 4 elective rotations throughout the year. The required Resident Project will also be tailored to individual interests. 

Our program is ASHP Accredited through 2031. 

Candidates for consideration must be U.S. citizens with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited college, and participate in the National Matching Service (NMS). Licensure must be obtained no later than September 30th.
