The Virginia Mason Franciscan Health – St. Anne Hospital pharmacy residency is a PGY1 program fully accredited by ASHP. Our mission is to develop competent, confident pharmacy practitioners who will function effectively in various health environments, while developing skills in pharmacy practice management.
Clinical learning experiences assist the residents to expand their knowledge of therapeutics and aid in the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Leadership and professionalism will be strengthened through the practice management component of the residency program. The residency experience is tailored by the resident development plan to help the resident achieve individual career goals. A variety of opportunities will be afforded to the resident indirect patient care, precepting, education, and management experiences.
