Northwest Hospital serves the greater northwest Baltimore community, with a mission to improve the health of individuals and communities in this region through compassionate, high-quality care. Northwest Hospital PGY1 pharmacy residency program is driven to develop highly professional, communicative, compassionate and knowledgeable pharmacists who will carry on this mission in all clinical and technological aspects of medication-related care.  Required learning experiences include rotations in medical critical care, internal medicine, infectious diseases, emergency medicine, anticoagulation, and pharmacy management along with longitudinal experiences in distribution, clinical administration, and medication safety.
