The Ambulatory Care residency program at UK HealthCare is a one-year ASHP accredited specialty residency that offers in-depth ambulatory care training in a variety of core practice areas including primary care, cardiology, endocrinology & diabetes,transitions of care, and leadership. The resident will also have required experiences in research, teaching, and practice management and development, and at least three elective experiences with many opportunities in the diverse practice areas seen at UK HealthCare and its partner organizations. The ambulatory care resident will provide staffing support through the Meds-to-Beds transitions of care program. The UK HealthCare PGY2 Ambulatory Care residency program is recruiting for 2 resident positions for the 2025-26 residency year.

The University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy Community Pharmacy Residency Program (CPRP), established in 2001, is dedicated to developing community practitioners who are providers of direct patient care services and innovators in the advancement of community pharmacy practice. The program will equip the residents to: provide direct patient care in community pharmacy settings, effectively communicate with/educate student pharmacists, pharmacists, patients, and other healthcare professionals, manage advanced patient care practices, be a leader and role model for pharmacists, other healthcare professionals, and student pharmacists in advancing the profession of pharmacy, and utilize core management skills to effectively operate a community pharmacy.
