Our PGY1 Pharmacy Residency program at Cooley Dickinson Hospital is dedicated to training pharmacists to become well-rounded pharmacy practitioners in a collaborative environment. Residents are exposed to acute care experiences, including critical care, internal medicine, and antimicrobial stewardship.
Outpatient clinic experiences in oncology and anticoagulation, as well as teaching and precepting opportunities, help to provide a solid foundation for our residents. Residents are also offered the chance to become ACLS-certified, serve as co-preceptors for IPPE and APPE pharmacy students, and teach at one of the nearby pharmacy schools.

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be eligible for immediate licensure in Massachusetts.
Eligibility includes graduates or candidates for graduation from an ACPE-accredited program or having a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC) certificate from NABP.
