Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is offering 5 PGY1 Pharmacy positions, 1 position for our new PGY1/2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership with Masters, and 1 position for our PGY2 Oncology.
Cedars-Sinai is a 915-bed nonprofit, acute, quaternary care, academic medical center serving the diverse Los Angeles community and beyond. With pioneering medical research achievements, education programs defining the future of healthcare, and wide-ranging community benefit activities, we are setting new standards for quality and innovation in patient care. Hosting a Level 1 Trauma Center and multiple national recognized specialties, our department of pharmacy helps provide care via comprehensive pharmacy services in the inpatient setting. CSMC also provides care via ambulatory care clinics and cancer centers.
Residents achieve professional and clinical competence serving as members of a multidisciplinary health care team providing direct patient care to a variety of patient populations during clinical rotations in inpatient practice, drug distribution, pharmacy management and other elective rotations. Residents will develop teaching skills through in-services to the healthcare team and patients. They will exercise leadership in improving the safety of the medication use system and develop problem solving skills through participation in departmental and organizational initiatives. Residents will develop a commitment to lifelong learning and professional practice.
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is an 915-bed non-profit, acute, tertiary, teaching Level I Trauma Center hospital located in the heart of Los Angeles. The Pharmacy Department has over 500 staff members who provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services as well as outpatient services via 5 cancer centers and 4 outpatient pharmacies. The Department is affiliated with schools of pharmacy in California.
