IU Health Candidate PGY1 Community Based Pharmacy Residency Program emphasizes the development of advanced knowledge and application of pharmacotherapeutics in outpatient and ambulatory care settings. This program cultivates the skills of practice management and education and the professional attitudes of self-evaluation, self-improvement, and accountability. The successful resident will demonstrate a desire to learn, sincere interest in the profession, and dedication to achieving all outcomes of the residency. The ASHP accreditation standard provides criteria that every program must meet in order to receive and maintain accreditation.
