The Medication-Use Safety and Policy Pharmacy PGY 2 Residency expands new pharmacy practitioners baseline knowledge in formulary management, medication safety and policy and procedural development. The PGY-2 resident will work closely with formulary experts, the system medication safety director and facility safety leaders. The program offered at Banner Health is unique because the resident will see how medication use and safety is managed at a system level. The resident will be actively involved in assessing policies, formulary management, and safety events at over 30 hospitals, 200 clinics, 50 urgent cares.
