PGY1 Pharmacy: This residency provides a comprehensive exposure to clinical and administrative components of hospital pharmacy practice in a community teaching hospital. It allows for flexibility in order to fulfill the special needs and interests of each resident while ensuring that a broad-based hospital pharmacy practice experience is acquired. Rotations/experiences offered include internal medicine, critical care, antimicrobial stewardship, psychiatry, administration, emergency medicine, transitions of care, medication safety, teaching, and hospital committee involvement. Elective rotations include oncology, Unit-based pharmacy, OR pharmacy, and others by arrangement.
PGY2 Internal Medicine: This residency provides a comprehensive exposure to clinical and administrative components of hospital pharmacy practice in a community teaching hospital. It allows for flexibility in order to fulfill the special needs and interests of each resident while ensuring that a broad-based hospital pharmacy practice experience is acquired. Rotations/experiences offered include internal medicine, critical care, antimicrobial stewardship, psychiatry, oncology, administration, emergency medicine, transitions of care, teaching, and hospital committee involvement.
Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center is a part of the larger Penn Medicine system. It is located in Plainsboro, NJ which is minutes away from the beautiful Princeton University campus and downtown area. It comprises of the main hospital unit and a psychiatric facility, and is also one of the primary teaching sites for Rutgers College of Pharmacy and Robert Wood Johnson University Medical School in addition to other health care programs in nursing, physical therapy, and related fields. We strive to continue to expand and advance our clinical practice to meet the needs of our patients.
