The PGY1 residency program at Boca Raton Regional Hospital is designed to provide postgraduate residents with a distinctive educational experience. Located in the idyllic South Florida setting, its core rotations, elective offerings and longitudinal experiences are tailored to meet both the professional and personal needs of our residents. In our tertiary academic medical center, residents will gain valuable experience in multidisciplinary collaboration, student preceptorship, formal lecturing, committee participation, and more. A teaching certificate program is also available.
Residents are trained in the core competencies that enable attainment of board certification in pharmacotherapy and PGY2 specialty residency training.
Candidates must possess a Pharm.D. degree from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy and Florida licensure (or eligible). Residency candidates must submit a Curriculum Vitae, official transcripts, a letter of intent, and three letters of recommendation using the standard reference recommendation forms in PhORCAS™. Candidates must participate in the Resident Matching Program.
