The Baptist Medical Center South PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program is committed to providing residents with diverse training opportunities within an enriched clinical environment.  The resident’s training will be tailored to encourage development of both clinical and leadership skills that will produce competent and confident practitioners equipped to practice anywhere along the spectrum of opportunity that the profession of pharmacy provides.  The diverse patient population and team dynamics at our institution also allows the resident to gain experience and prepare for further training in a PGY2 discipline upon graduation. Our goal will be to allow for the development of a professional maturity that not only promotes the profession of pharmacy but also encourages a mental
