DePaul Hospital is a full-service community hospital located in suburban St. Louis, Missouri. With nearly 500 beds, it offers comprehensive medical, surgical, emergency, and intensive care services. As one of the region’s first hospitals, DePaul has a long history of serving the community. DePaul provides specialized care in cardiology, orthopedics, weight management, psychiatry, and stroke treatment, supporting patients with medical expertise, innovative care, and a commitment to compassionate care.
The DePaul Hospital PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program offers a comprehensive, one-year training experience designed to develop well-rounded clinical pharmacists prepared for diverse pharmacy practice settings. Pharmacists completing a residency at DePaul Hospital will become confident, competent, and independent practitioners in multidisciplinary health care settings. Residents engage in hands-on patient care across multiple specialties, including ambulatory care, neurology, psychiatry, and critical care, while gaining expertise in advanced clinical services, medication management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The program emphasizes professional growth through clinical rotations, research projects, and teaching opportunities. Residents also benefit from mentorship, continuous feedback, and support to achieve their career goals within a community-focused hospital setting committed to quality patient care.
