AdventHealth East Orlando is a not-for-profit 295-bed academic, community hospital located in Orlando, Florida. We have two offsite Emergency Departments at Waterford Lakes and Lake Nona, and our 80-bed Emergency Department is one of the busiest in central Florida. We are home to two pharmacy residents, three separate medical residency programs (Podiatry, Family Medicine, and Emergency Medicine), and a state-of-the-art Medical Simulation Lab. We are a clinical teaching site for several colleges of pharmacy, medicine, and nursing. Our ambulatory care pharmacists work in our Transitions of Care Clinic to manage patients with complex disease states and assist with bridging the gap between hospital discharge and community providers.
